Senegal project department signs contract to aid Senegal drill wells

On December 9, 2011 (local time), the Senegal project department of China Geo-Engineering Corporation International Ltd. (CGC), commissioned by the Chinese government, signed the Contract of Aiding Senegal to Drill Wells with the Senegal Ministry of Housing, Construction and Water Resources. The well-drilling project includes building water towers and booster bumps, and paving PVC water supply pipelines in Diourbel of Senegal.

At the signing ceremony, OUMAR SARR, Senegal housing, construction and water resources minister, spoke highly of CGC in constructing water supply projects and irrigation works in Senegal. He hoped this project could maintain the “China speed,” so as to fulfill the project on schedule and with high quality.
