Provisional Acceptance Successfully Completed for the Alibori and Borgou province 26 multi-village drinking water supply system (26 SAEPmV) construction project

On 26 August 2026, the construction project of Alibori and Borgou province 26 multi-village drinking water supply system (26 SAEPmV) construction, undertaken by our company, successfully passed the provisional acceptance inspection.

The project commenced on 17 April 2023. The scope of works includes the construction of 70 high-yield water abstraction wells, rehabilitation of 33 existing wells, supply and installation of 63 submersible pump sets, 41 generator units and 30 transformers, as well as the erection of 72 well pumping stations. Dual power supply modes, namely municipal grid power and standby power generation, are basically available for the facilities.

For water regulation and storage facilities, the project features one relay water treatment plant, 23 reinforced concrete water towers ranging from 150 m³ to 500 m³, and one 1000 m³ reinforced concrete storage reservoir, together with 4 surface-mounted pump sets.

Regarding the water transmission and distribution works, over 1,877 kilometers of PEHD pipelines have been laid, with fittings ranging from DE63 to DE355. In addition, construction and equipment installation of functional buildings including administration offices, chlorination rooms, chemical dosing rooms and technical buildings have been finished. A complete rural water supply system covering water source abstraction, pressurization and storage regulation, and end-user water distribution has been established.



As an important benchmark project of our company in the water supply and livelihood sector, this project has received wide recognition from local authorities and residents. Our company will further strengthen cooperation with the Agence National d'Approvisionnement en Eau Potable en Milieu Rural (ANAEMR), and make positive contributions to the sustainable development of Benin.
