Niger project department signs contract to aid drilling wells in Niger

On December 2, 2011, the Niger project department of China Geo-Engineering Corporation International Ltd. (CGC) signed a contract of aiding Niger to drill wells with the ministry of water resources of Niger. According to the contract, CGC will drill 70 wells in Tillabéri and Dosso provinces. The contract was signed by Xia Huang, Chinese ambassador to Niger, Liu Qixi, CGC Niger project department general manager, and IssoufouIssaka, Nigerien water resources minister. The ceremony was also attended by CGC representatives and senior officials of Nigerien water resources ministry.
